As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure our senior living community operates smoothly by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. We’re looking for a skilled and dependable professional with experience in maintenance or facilities management and qualifications such as knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.

• Maintain Buildings & Grounds – Perform general building maintenance, repairs, floor care, landscaping, snow removal, and remodeling to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Manage HVAC & Mechanical System – Inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to optimize safety and comfort for residents and staff.
• Maintain Plumbing & Water Systems – Inspect and repair hot water heaters, softeners, plumbing equipment, and pool systems, including monitoring pool chemistry when scheduled.
• Ensure Life Safety & Emergency Preparedness – Maintain and troubleshoot fire safety systems, generators, sprinkler systems, and alarm panels, ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code procedures.
• Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minnesota Boiler Operator’s License
• Strong mechanical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• On Call requirement on a rotating basis.
• Physical capability to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and families.
