Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our HVAC‑R Service Technicians are individuals who are skilled and wanting to grow within their career. This position involves performing HVAC‑R system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC‑R systems.

• HVAC‑R system troubleshooting and repair of units.
• Start‑up of installed commercial HVAC‑R systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC units.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment.
• On Call duties as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience but not required.
• 3 years+ experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and take direction from supervisors.
• Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date.
• NATE certification or similar, DDC/Pneumatic control experience, boilers license, and refrigeration background is desired but not required.
• Ability to work at heights and varying temperatures.
• Lift 50+ lbs.
• Sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders.
• On the job training is provided.
• Starting pay ranges from $25-$42+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands, have to talk, and hear. The employee is also required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
