Maintenance Technician

MBG is searching for a multi‑skilled maintenance technician in Maple Plain and Rogers, MN. The position will be responsible for the overall well‑being of the property including the following responsibilities.

This position will split time between two properties: one in Maple Plain, MN and the other in Rogers, MN.

• Maintenance Technician routinely walks the property checking for problems and reports back to supervisors.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Maintains working relationship with manager.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
• Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.
• Performs facility maintenance and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting, and other building repairs.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Responds to emergencies in a timely manner.
• Completes all forms and work orders.
• Maintains a professional image.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Has a valid driver’s license/insurance and a reliable vehicle.
• Provides own basic tools.
• Participates in an on‑call emergency service rotation.
• Performs snow removal when needed by shovel and/or blower.
• Obtains appropriate boiler license and pool operator license if required.

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• At least two (2) years of general experience in building trades, repair/replacement maintenance, or handy work.
• Passes a background check and has a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 50‑100 lbs following procedures; work in an upright standing position for long periods; crawl in small and tight spaces; work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain); walk and climb stairs; reach with hands and arms; communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing; navigate the property/building quickly and easily; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers;
  
  detect auditory and/or visual alarms.

Pay:
From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
