Power & HVAC Road Technician

This role focuses on troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems, performing advanced and complex repairs on all types of equipment, and providing solutions to customers’ needs. The technician may lead and train other team members in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager.

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, including generators, HVAC, and air compressors.
• Provide customer solutions and scope equipment needs.
• Lead and train team members when needed.
• Perform advanced repair on all types of Pump & Power equipment.

• 5–7 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• DOT Physical Examination (Medical card).
• EPA Section 608 universal Certification required.
• Advanced understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certified), load bank repairs, electrical engines, and controllers.
• Advanced operation of dehumidification equipment (CDI, Munters).
• Experience with VFDs, VSDs, soft starts, and “across the line” motor starting preferred.
• Some factory diesel, generator, compressor, HVAC training is a plus.

This role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $29.77 – $42.80 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and experience.
