Cedar Ridge Landscaping, Inc. is looking to fill 8 Landscape Laborer positions. This is a temporary, full‑time seasonal position from 4/1/2026 to 12/28/2026. Begin/report to work: 29327 Saint Thomas Road, Le Sueur, Le Sueur County, MN 56058 @ $22.32/hr.

Employer will transport workers daily between the report to work address and additional worksites. Additional worksites are located throughout the following counties and areas:
Anoka, MN;
Blue Earth, MN;
Carver, MN;
Chisago, MN;
Dakota, MN;
Hennepin, MN;
Isanti, MN;
Le Sueur, MN;
Mille Lacs, MN;
Nicollet, MN;
Olmsted, MN;
Ramsey, MN;
Rice, MN;
Scott, MN;
Sherburne, MN;
Sibley, MN;
Waseca, MN;
Washington, MN;
Wright, MN and areas of Mankato, MN, Minneapolis‑St. Paul‑Bloomington, MN‑WI, Rochester, MN, Southeast Minnesota non‑metropolitan area, Southwest Minnesota non‑metropolitan area.

Duties: Care for established lawns by mowing, trimming, mulching, aerating, weeding, and removing thatch. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears or pruners. Plant grass, shrubs or trees, and apply wood and rock mulch for protection. Install drainage systems, irrigation systems, and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units for landscaping purposes and other related Landscape Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 37‑3011.

Standard/Expected

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 6:00 AM‑4:30 PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime may vary depending on project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold.

Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/−), possible downtime and/or overtime.

Requirements: Must be 18 due to equipment use. Must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials, use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs. No minimum education requirement. On‑the‑job training available.

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform the work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Random drug/alcohol testing may occur during employment; positive test or refusal to comply equals dismissal. Possible background check post‑hire at the employer's expense.

Wages and Conditions of Employment: $22.32 / hour up to possible $32.00 / hour overtime. Overtime paid at 1.5× regular rate per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week. Wage may vary based on experience. Single workweek standard for computing wages. Wage paid every week. All deductions required by law will be made by the employer as well as any further tax withholding or other reasonable deduction(s) authorized by the worker.

Possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Possible cash advances may be requested (potential deduction from worker's paycheck).

Transportation and Subsistence: Employer will reimburse transportation between the worker's residence and the place of employment, as well as subsistence expenses at the rate required at the time of travel (currently $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts). Upon completion of the work contract or if the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for reasonable return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed.

3/4s Guarantee: The worker will be offered a total number of work hours equal to at least three‑fourths of the workdays in each 12‑week period. Any worker who voluntarily abandons employment is not entitled to payment for outbound transportation or the full guarantee described.
