Position Overview What you’ll do

Our Part‑Time Retail Sales Associates (Stylists/Sales Support) create an unforgettable shopping experience that leaves our customers inspired and feeling their best. While the primary responsibility of a Part‑Time Retail Sales Associate is to deliver excellent customer service and build wardrobes, we also expect you to participate in visual merchandising and maintain store presentation, focusing on the customer’s needs to achieve sales goals.

General Work Expectations
  • Guide the customer through our award‑winning Brand Experience to make authentic connections
  • Be customer‑obsessed, leading with loyalty, confidence, and product knowledge to advise style and fit, influencing moments that matter
  • Cash Wrap/Cashier: use our modern store technology (e.g., POS, payment systems, tablets, headsets for communication) to stay well‑informed on company priorities and promotions in‑store and online; deliver a seamless, omni‑channel shopping experience; promote our loyalty programs and credit services
  • Maintain maurices’ visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
  • Product Flow/Shipping and Receiving: support the shipment process to gain awareness of product, what’s new and what’s already on the floor; contribute to the completion of omni‑order fulfillment processes, including in‑store and curbside pick‑up
Position Requirements
  • At least 16 years of age
  • A willingness to relate to customers of all ages and backgrounds
  • Goal/achievement oriented
  • Some technical aptitude
  • Ability to follow directions and work with a sense of urgency in a fast‑paced environment, while handling competing priorities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Pay Range

Hourly: $12.41 – $13.15 (pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We meet minimum wage or the minimum of the pay range, whichever is higher, based on city, county, and state requirements. Maurices provides early access to earnings powered by Pay Activ.)
