Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor for our rapidly expanding manufacturing industry. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality food products.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Quality Assurance team to ensure the safety and quality of our food products.
  • Implement and maintain food safety and quality assurance protocols in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to identify potential areas of improvement and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Train and mentor Quality Assurance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Investigate and resolve any food safety or quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in food safety and quality assurance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the quality assurance program, highlighting any areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in the use of quality assurance software and tools.
  • Certified in Food Safety, such as Serv Safe or HACCP, is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be flexible with work hours, able to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
