Base pay range$41.58/hr - $61.66/hr
About the PositionUnder the supervision of the Manager of Surgical Services, the Pre OP/PACU RN provides pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia (Phase I and II), limited intraoperative, and endoscopy care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. This role involves delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective nursing care using the nursing process while supporting overall efficiency and team goals. The RN also contributes to team leadership and the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.
Education and Experience- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required, or eligibility to obtain certification within three months of hire.
- Minimum of one year of experience in critical care or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nursing preferred.
- Proficiency in computer and electronic medical record (EMR) systems required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required, or eligibility to obtain certification within three months of hire.
