• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Provide professional nursing practice across settings and the continuum of care.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, acuity, fiscal accountability, and resources.
• Lead through preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts.
• Mentor and teach staff; participate on committees or projects.
• May be required to drive personal vehicle as part of the role.

• Student or Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA.
• If program not accredited, at least one year RN experience in an applicable setting or one year LPN experience at Mayo Clinic.
• RN start date since April 1, 2020: provide evidence of a baccalaureate degree in nursing within five years.
• RN start date prior to April 1, 2020: provide evidence of a baccalaureate degree in nursing per program requirements at hire.
• Preferred: one year RN experience or current LPN at Mayo Clinic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; teamwork experience; computer skills; adaptability; leadership; critical thinking.
• Internal applicants: submit three most recent performance appraisals.

• Current RN license to applicable state requirements.
• BLS valid within 90 days post‑start.
• Additional state licensure or specialty certifications as required.

The pay range is $38.64–$61.64 per hour. Mayo Clinic’s nursing compensation model rewards experience, education, and dedication.

Part Time; 12‑hour shifts, Sunday–Saturday, days. Weekend schedule: every other Friday/Saturday. Supplemental hours/pay period:
