The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, practices within age and population-specific standards, and cares for residents in all phases of care. The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable resident care, and functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred;
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or possess multistate licensure if in an NLC state. Maintains required competencies and certifications.
