A walk-in clinic is seeking a family medicine nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

Discover serene lakes, wooded hills and endearing towns in the heart of central Minnesota.

This assignment is available for 3 or 6month terms, with an average 90day credentialing timeframe. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., matching the facilitys operating hours. The role is open to APPs only (FNP or PA) and involves no call. Patient volumes range from 25 per day during peak summer months to an average of 15-18 per day otherwise, with an allages patient population.

Candidates must hold an active Minnesota license and DEA, with COVID or flu vaccination preferred. The provider will work solo with support from a CMA or LPN and use the EPIC EMR system. Ideal candidates are comfortable with basic procedures such as simple suturing, while sameday ortho cases are typically handled at the ortho clinic. When there is uncertainty about whether a patient requires sameday care or the ER, an ER RN will triage to determine the appropriate setting.
