Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in a critical access setting, requiring a MN RN license and charge experience.

• Work in the Emergency Department and occasionally in Med/Surg within a critical access hospital
• Primary focus on emergency care with additional Med/Surg responsibilities as needed
• 12-hour shifts with day and night rotations, primarily night shift
• Required to work every third weekend
• Uses Epic for charting
• Role includes both ED patient care and floating to Med/Surg as needed
• Must not request every holiday off and only 1 week of RTO will be approved at submission
• All schedule or time off requests must be submitted with initial application
• Must notify employer of any call outs with more than 24 hours notice

• Active MN RN license must be provided at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Charge nurse experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Not open to first-time travelers
• Locals not accepted
