Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in a critical access setting, requiring a MN RN license and charge experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department and occasionally in Med/Surg within a critical access hospital
- Primary focus on emergency care with additional Med/Surg responsibilities as needed
- 12-hour shifts with day and night rotations, primarily night shift
- Required to work every third weekend
- Uses Epic for charting
- Role includes both ED patient care and floating to Med/Surg as needed
- Must not request every holiday off and only 1 week of RTO will be approved at submission
- All schedule or time off requests must be submitted with initial application
- Must notify employer of any call outs with more than 24 hours notice
- Active MN RN license must be provided at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Charge nurse experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Not open to first-time travelers
