Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm with rotating on-call nights, weekends and holidays.

WAGE RANGE: $37.72 - $54.36

The Registered Nurse organizes the provision of nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on preparation and job descriptions. The Registered Nurse contributes to the mission and goals of CCM Health and Department of Perioperative Service, meeting requirements of regulatory agencies. Provides care to patients of all ages.

Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships. Provides expanded perioperative care for all patients receiving services in the perioperative environment. Delivery of care through the nursing process in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Attend mandatory educational programs as defined by hospital and department policy. Maintains current licensure. Current certification in Basic Life Support. Maintains certification in ACLS. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Critical thinking skills, perioperative equipment knowledge, knowledge of instrumentation, knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and operative techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in stressful and emergency situations.

Surgery experience preferred.
