LPN​/Medical Assistant - Dermatology

Position Summary

Provides practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and PNHS policy. Provides safe and effective nursing care by promoting a safe, therapeutic environment and by advocating for the best interests of individual patients. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.

• Monday - Thursday.
• Start 7:30AM until clinic ends by 4:30PM or 5:00PM.

We are open to filling this position with an LPN or MA. Requirements for each are outlined below:

Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. Online BLS certification is not acceptable.

Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. Online BLS certification is not acceptable.
