Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve at Essentia Living Center, Essentia Health's long‑term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota. This CNA works evening shift, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, 32 hours weekly. Every other weekend and a holiday rotation are required. An evening shift differential and a $1500 sign‑on bonus are available.

Responsible for providing direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and for serving the needs of residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, within the scope of the nursing assistant role. Provides personal hygiene care, assists with nutritional needs; recognizes and deals with the problems of the aging process, promptly reports changes in resident condition to shift nurse, and maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents.
Must be aware of and prevent the abuse of vulnerable adults in the care of the Essentia Health skilled nursing facility. Maintains awareness of safety issues and strives to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner. Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective actions.

Qualifications:
- Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program, current registration on the Minnesota state nursing assistant registry, or must obtain certification within 4 months of hire.
