Clinic Care Team RN
Ortonville Area Health Services seeks a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic clinic care team. This role is designed for a nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys variety in their daily work, and is passionate about chronic care management. The Registered Nurse (RN) will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, apply critical thinking skills, demonstrate autonomy and initiative, and—most importantly—provide compassionate care to patients throughout their health journeys.
Whatyou can expect as an RN in the clinic
- Provide direct patient care across multiple clinic care teams, adapting to daily staffing needs and patient volumes
- Participates in and evaluates total patient care through general nursing duties and chronic care management
- Collaborate with providers, LPNs, CMAs, and RN Care Managers to deliver high quality, patient-centered care
- Utilize One Chart for documentation and care coordination
- Recognizes and interprets symptoms, reports patient’s condition, and assists with or initiates appropriate interventions according to nursing protocol and provider guidance
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota required. (South Dakota RN license will need to be in process if hired at OAHS)
- Prior Clinic experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated skills of leadership, good verbal and written communication, clinical expertise, planning, organizing, directing, motivating and problem solving
- Knowledge to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation. Ability to prioritize, work independently, and complete assigned duties within a constantly changing environment
- Effective assessment, reporting, and documentation skills
- Full time (60+ hours per pay period) Monday through Friday
- Rotating Saturday Clinic, usually 1 weekend every 6 weeks
