CNC Machine Operator

Brief Description

Malco Tools is looking for new talent to join our second operations team in Annandale, MN, as a machine operator to set up, trouble shoot and run CNC and Non-CNC machines safely to produce quality parts to meet customer requirements.

• Set up and operate (no programming) CNC and Non-CNC machine (mills, lathes, grinder, laser, etc.) to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and inspection procedures (IPs).
• Load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document production and inspection results accurately.
• Input accurate information to the ERP system.

• Understanding of MRP related to job
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Problem solving and troubleshooting problems on setups on CNC machines
• All tools and equipment used in the department
• Make operator machine adjustments to maintain the production of quality parts
• Understand and follow inspection procedures for production
• Reading and math skills
• Understand job scheduling and rotations to go from one job to the next without hesitation
• Communicate effectively
• Lift material up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to learn from mentors
• Good listening skills, understand and follow instructions and retain information
