Team Leader (Production Supervisor) – Long Prairie, MN – Hormel Foods

Salary: $70,000 – $82,500 per year

• Lead and execute plant processes, managing team members to achieve production and quality goals.
• Ensure appropriate resources—including materials, equipment, and staffing—are available to maintain production schedules.
• Support continuous improvement processes to meet goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
• Create and maintain an engaged, team‑oriented workforce to improve business results.
• Team Leaders are on their feet in the production area about 80% of the shift.

• 1+ year as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, or similar role, or an Associate’s Degree.
• Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer and not require future employer sponsorship for a work visa.
• Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions).
• Able to read and write in English.

• Approximately six weeks of hands‑on training before assignment to a department.
• Attend a virtual new employee orientation covering product knowledge, company knowledge, and leadership skills.
• Participate in a 6‑month operational training program while on the job.

• Extended hours may be required, including weekends.
• Team Leaders may work in environments below 40°F and above 60°F.
