JOB DESCRIPTION:Support manufacturing by maintaining tooling inventory and setup sheets. Preassemble tooling for job setups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

• Order tooling as needed.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory of tooling.
• Maintain appropriate min/max levels for all expendable tooling.
• Issue tooling to machine operators.
• Create/implement/maintain standard work set up processes.
• Assemble job ready tooling prior to setups.
• Coordinate with tooling vendors to improve processes and incorporate better tooling solutions.
• Document and maintain setup sheets.
• Reduce tooling costs.
• Work with setup people to reduce excess inventory.
• Pick up tooling at will call as needed.
• Conform to the company quality system procedures and documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

High School Diploma or GED.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Computer experience and knowledge using Microsoft programs.

EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

1 year minimum.

SKILLS ABILITIES:
Ability to learn JobBOSS manufacturing software, and Auto Crib software. Valid Class D license. Mobility within the work facility. Communication with others both verbal and written.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
