Position Summary

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately selecting products, securely packing them for shipment, and loading them onto trucks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipping of products to customers
• Loading and unloading transport trucks using forklift, hydraulic lift, and dolly
• Inventory stocking - placing parts in the proper warehouse location
• Inventory control including:
• Inspecting order accuracy before accepting vendor deliveries
• Perform quality checks on inventory
• Conduct cycle counts
• Follow all company policies as it relates to Loss Prevention
• Assist with warehouse organization and design, to include allocation and installation of product bins
• Forklift operation
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Positive attitude, self-motivated and be able to work well as a team
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience required. Shipping or warehouse preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
• Innovative approach to problem solving
• Basic math and computer skills
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
• Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment
