Brief Description

The Pultrusion Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of Pultrusion production. In addition to overseeing the production of the department on their shift, this person will be responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy of outgoing Pultrusion production. Will also train, fill-in on the line, and help in any other area of the plant as needed.

Shift Hours

Friday – Sunday 6:00 pm–6:30 am
* plus one additional weeknight shift to complete 40 hours per week*

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervision of the Pultrusion production team on their shift including leading the daily Kiosk meetings
  • Responsible for Pultrusion product quality and accuracy of outgoing production reporting
  • Acclimates and trains new hires
  • Ensures all team members are trained and proficient in the relevant work instructions
  • Actively participates in department process improvement and efficiency
  • Makes all necessary Pultrusion products that work orders call out in a timely manner
  • Assembles and packages product for shipment and/or warehousing according to company standards
Job Requirements
  • Previous supervision experience required
  • Ability to properly prioritize and pay close attention to details
  • Able to read and write the English language
  • Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure
  • Able to work and lead with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Strong emphasis on quality, productivity and safety
PHYSICAL WORK CONDITIONS
  • The position is located on the production floor, Office work requires sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone.
  • Standing for up to 12 hours a day. Work with or around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals. Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • While working on the floor there will be work with and around moving machinery, fumes, and chemicals.

The compensation range for this position is $25/hr. (53,040.00) - $37.00 (76,960.00). Final offers may vary based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The posted range represents the expected earning potential for this position within the current organizational budget and market conditions
