A Machinist I is responsible for completing the following duties:
  • Process raw materials into machined parts according to production needs and job specifications.
  • Set up and operate a variety of machines, including Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill.
  • Perform machine adjustments, routine maintenance, and ensure safe operation in alignment with company safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
  • Edit and modify G&M code programs as needed.
  • Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
Compensation
  • The starting pay range for this position is $22-27 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
Day Shift
  • 5:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, 5:00am - 11:00am Friday
  • Weekly paycheck
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance

  • Annual boot reimbursements up to $125
  • On the spot bonuses up to $100
Qualifications
  • Proficient in reading a tape measure with accuracy to 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” increments, with a strong understanding of inch-to-decimal conversions
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints with accuracy
  • Experience in using precision measuring tools, including digital and vernier calipers and micrometers
  • Knowledgeable in dimensions and sizing of common structural steel materials
