, creating an environment that fosters growth and teamwork. This role is located in Rockford, MN and is a critical position in correct assembly, packaging of finished goods, line operations, and quality assurance checks.
- Perform all work in a safe manner and promote a safe work environment.
- Assist on-line operations, including:
- Monitor product quality through checks, counting, packaging, and removal of defective products.
- Line setup: string up the line, start/stops, run the line, and clear routine jams.
- Remove, collect, and grind scrap product.
- Prepare packaging materials and equipment and complete related paperwork.
- Assemble finished product units.
- Support other areas of the plant as needed.
- Adhere to essential duties as described and be flexible to take on additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or a related environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and ability.
Must Be Able To- Work in a team-based environment.
- Work a shift schedule, including overtime.
- Follow directions and get along well with others.
- Language:
Read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate in English (oral and written). - Mathematical:
Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide). - Reasoning:
Apply common sense to carry out instructions and handle problems with several variables in standardized situations. - Certificate/License:
Must have forklift operator license at time of hire/transfer or obtain certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Product Compliance Policy.
- Ensure duties related to product compliance are performed in accordance with laws, regulations, and market demands.
- Raise compliance concerns to supervisory channels or through the confidential whistle blower service.
