Overview
Amesbury Truth is looking for an Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team in Cannon Falls, MN
! This role is responsible for performing changeovers, packing parts, and performing quality checks.
A successful candidate will have good attendance, be able to lift 50 lbs, and have the ability to read and understand blueprints and job packages.
We have immediate openings for both 2nd shift and 3rd shift.
- 2nd Shift: 2:40pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday.
- 3rd Shift: 10:40pm-7:00am, Monday-Friday.
NEW WAGE INCREASE! Starting at up to $27.00/hour (this includes a $21.00 base rate + $2.50 shift differential for 2nd shift and $3.00 shift differential for 3rd shift + $3 perfect attendance premium
).

Position PurposePerforms changeovers, packs parts, and performs quality checks, in order to produce quality profiles.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities- Follows all standard safety procedures as outlined and stated in the Awair Policy and uses all approved safety devices and equipment at all times.
- Is required and actively participates in the cell structure.
- Reads and understands blue prints and job package.
- Completes paper work accurately, completely and neatly.
- Does a thorough quality check on all profiles and lengths according to the procedures.
- Capable of doing changeovers, and adjustments in order to maintain a quality product.
- Works to ensure changeovers are done correctly and as fast as possible.
- Ensures recipe cards are updated, filled out completely and changes are recorded and followed.
- Ensures all tools are put back and accounted for.
- Willingly works in other departments as required.
- Able to work in a team environment. Helps others without being asked.
- Willingly takes direction from the Team Lead, and communicates well with Team Lead and others.
- Trains and instructs other personnel including seasonal support.
- Does all TPM according to the TPM schedule.
- Practices good housekeeping by sweeping the floor, and general clean up.
- Is responsible for 1 on 1 direction of seasonal support.
- May be required to perform other duties as needed.
