Job Description
Maintenance Superintendent - Night Shift
Location: Madelia, MN
Gpac is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent to lead our night shift team in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You'll oversee 3 supervisors, 24 mechanics, 4 electricians, and boiler/refrigeration techs, driving accountability, communication, and a proactive maintenance culture.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and support the night shift maintenance team.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production to prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Promote continuous improvement and team skill development.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Experience leading maintenance teams in food manufacturing (canning a plus).
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Long-term mindset and desire to make an impact.
