Gemini is currently seeking Seasonal Team Members to join our production team in Cannon Falls, MN. Starting wage for this position is $18.94 per hour with an additional 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
Individuals will be expected to learn and demonstrate proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. This position supports other internal departments and those of the flat cut out, plastics, and pronto shops.
A day as a Seasonal Team Member can include:
- Ensure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials.
- Properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order.
- Assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order.
- Mix appropriate quantity of paint per work order, ensure proper mixing, and match paint chips or samples if required.
- Spray products as required, ensuring application meets customer requirements and quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality; clean products as necessary.
- Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading, and prepare products for UPS/truck pick-up.
- Operate lasers or routers to produce products as instructed.
- Use appropriate equipment to laminate foils or metal to substrates as instructed.
- Participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts in the plant.
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, demonstrated through work experience and 1–2 years in a production environment.
Preferred Experience/Knowledge:
- Manufacturing Experience
- Automotive Paint Experience
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Operate power saws and routers for cutting letters from plastic sheets.
