Hours:

6:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. Monday–Thursday; 6:30 a.m.– 2:00 p.m. Friday (breakfast is provided). This entry-level position assists in the operation of production equipment and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment. On-the-job training is provided.

Job Summary:

The Entry-Level General Machine Operator assists in the daily operation of production equipment and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to learn machine operation and manufacturing skills.

• Assist with operating production equipment, including panel saws and CNC (automated) machines
• Perform basic machine setup tasks under supervision, such as loading materials and starting programs
• Assemble parts and products following instructions and training
• Use hand and power tools, including nail guns, in a safe and proper manner
• Box, package, and label finished products for shipment
• Conduct basic visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company guidelines
• Support team members and supervisors with additional production tasks as needed

• No prior machine operating experience required; training provided
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Ability to use basic hand tools or willingness to be trained
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow work instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed
• Ability to safely operate tools and machinery after training

• Manufacturing/production facility
• Exposure to machinery, power tools, noise, and dust

• Education – HSD/GED preferred only
• PPE – Close-toe shoes, hearing and eye protection
