AGCO is seeking its next Sr Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, in our Jackson, MN facility. In this role, you will manage the Manufacturing Engineering Department, provide production support, oversee change management, lead new product introductions, and drive projects in safety, quality, productivity, and capacity.

Your Impact
  • Oversee resources to address product quality and production process needs.
  • Develop and execute production support strategies.
  • Benchmark and implement best practices in manufacturing and assembly.
  • Develop and mentor engineering support staff.
  • Align department objectives with business, product, and customer goals.
  • Manage departmental budgets within the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Represent Manufacturing Engineering on relevant committees and guide product plans for enhanced safety, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Support New Product Introduction Teams by empowering representatives to influence design and reduce launch risks.
  • Research and implement process improvements to boost quality and efficiency.
  • Manage assigned projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
  • Stay informed on industry developments through ongoing learning.
Your Experience and Qualifications
  • Preferred, 3 years' management or supervisory experience, with strong leadership and cultural development skills to manage a Manufacturing Engineering Department.
  • Minimum 5 years' engineering experience across support functions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
  • Proven team player with change leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, planning, and interpersonal skills; enthusiastic and eager to learn.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of modern agriculture, customers, and equipment usage expectations.
Your Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $ - $, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 20% compensation.
