• Analyze and refine existing manufacturing processes to identify and implement standardized procedures that enhance production efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Develop comprehensive manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions and process flow charts, to ensure consistency and quality.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with strict quality control standards, actively participating in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective measures.
• Implement manufacturing engineering services pertaining to robotic welders, T drills, auto welders, orbital welders, and fixturing to assist with fabrication, welding and polishing operations—designing fixtures and tooling, streamlining the build process, and incorporating automation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A proactive problem‑solving mindset to drive operational improvements.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and other continuous improvement techniques.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document processes and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring precision in all aspects of the role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for process documentation and reporting.
• Team player – willing to jump in and help whenever it is needed.

• BS degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Two or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering and/or continuous improvement within an industrial environment, ideally in precision manufacturing or stainless steel.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies a plus.
• Ability to learn and work within our Microsoft BC ERP system is required.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as:
  • Safely navigating a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use office, phone and computer equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and twist.
