Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a Panel Door Fabricator III to join our team in Princeton, MN. Since 1947, Crystal Cabinet Works has been a custom cabinet manufacturer located in central Minnesota. Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM OR Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:15 PM;
Friday overtime hours required as needed.

Salary Grade D: $20.20 – $24.40 per hour.

The Panel Door Fabricator III is responsible for performing the job duties of the Door Builder/Clamp Operator. The role sets up and operates a variety of woodworking machines to sand/surface, cut, shape, etc. Additionally, component parts are fabricated for cabinet doors to meet production needs in accordance with job orders, special requests, and detailed paperwork.

• Pull panels as needed by wood species, graining and special wood characteristics as identified on the job order.
• Interpret job orders, detailed drawings and special request product.
• Follow cut list and cut panels to specifications.
• Set up doors by cutting stiles and rails per door/per order in preparation for assembly.
• Organize each door with correct panel, stile, rail, etc. according to cut list, job order or detailed drawing.
• Set up and operate a wide variety of machines in the fabrication of doors and parts, i.e., chop saw, panel shaper, etc.
• Organize and control drop off.
• Work with manager on product issues, material, machine and safety concerns that can cause problems with meeting production needs.
• Select, install and adjust saw blades, cutter heads, boring bits, and sanding belts in respective machines as well as adjust to specifications as needed/required.
• Repair product by hand or with the use of an orbital sander.
• Move sanded product to next step in the process per job order.
• Inspect work ensuring it meets specifications and quality standards using easel as needed.
• Organize and prioritize green slips to arrange rework to meet daily/weekly production needs as well as expedite and follow through on rework.
• Maintain all working areas in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
