Join the team at MiTek as a Machine Maintenance Specialist. We are looking for a skilled technician who can ensure the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of our production machinery.

• Work with stamping operations to ensure plant equipment is operating when necessary, through diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment, following manufacturer’s specifications or internal schedules.
• Focus on improving productivity through equipment, materials, or process improvements.
• Install and troubleshoot new equipment as directed.
• Attend shifts regularly, be prepared to work overtime when required, and arrive on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED with over two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective communication with co‑workers and management regarding work and safety issues.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out Certified;
  Crane Certified;
  Forklift Certified;
  Ladder and Sling Certified.
• Read a tape measure, use micrometer, voltmeter, and calipers; knowledge of blueprint reading; forklift repair experience desirable; general knowledge of technology or electronics helpful.
