Set up, adjust, and operate metal fabrication machinery to produce structural metal pipe, tube, and related components to specifications. Fabricate directly from drawings and work instructions without supervision.

• Support all areas of Lean Manufacturing practices through hands‑on technical work.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and maintain tooling solutions that enhance production flow and efficiency.
• Read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Operate shop equipment such as welders, saws, plasma cutters, and inspection tools.
• Observe processes on the floor to fully understand needs and engage operators for validation.
• Produce high‑quality and reliable parts, including usage instructions for end users.
• Adapt quickly to changing project scopes or urgent production needs.
• Learn new processes and equipment, staying up to speed with latest technologies.
• Identify true problems and develop solutions with a sense of urgency.

• Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Proficient in TIG and MIG welding.
• Skilled in metal fabrication, including cutting, forming, and machining.
• Capable of independently interpreting and creating mechanical components and jigs.
• Experience using shop equipment such as welders, saws, and plasma cutters.
• Motivated to learn mills, lathes, and various hand and inspection tools.
• Preferred:
  Strong understanding of metals, plastics, and composites.
• Preferred:
  Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with deburring, painting, coating, and prep work.

Target hourly range: $28.00‑$34.00/hr, depending on qualifications and experience. The compensation package includes profit‑sharing, a monthly bonus opportunity, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits, paid time off and paid holidays, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an employee stock ownership plan.
