You will be part of Group’s global finance team supporting subsidiaries globally. Our Finance Competence Center is currently providing financial services for 26 legal units in 13 countries. As a Manager, Financial Control, you will be responsible for leading a group of talented Financial Controllers at Nokian Tyres.
Key responsibilities- Lead and coach the team, motivating them and helping them succeed.
- Support the team to perform and provide day‑to‑day tasks, period end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (like auditors and tax compliance service providers) to ensure frictionless and compliant R2R end‑to‑end process.
- Develop and harmonize global financial processes, policies, and quality of operations.
- Work proactively to identify, apply and implement process improvements.
- Participate and contribute to finance related projects and development activities to automate and harmonize processes and way of doing.
- Previous experience in manager / supervisor role
- Experience in an international business environment.
- Knowledge in FAS, IFRS, taxation and reporting processes and practices.
- Open‑minded and analytical mindset with service driven and proactive attitude.
- Ready to take on new challenges, bring new ideas and question the existing practices to improve and harmonize processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and excellent teamwork skills.
- Excellent language skills in English and preferably also in Finnish, other languages are considered an advantage.
