The Global Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing payroll processes across Genus’ international operations. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll distribution, compliance with country‑specific regulations, and alignment with company policies. It coordinates with regional HR and finance teams to handle payroll discrepancies, tax filings, and benefits administration. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex global payroll systems are essential.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining employee satisfaction and financial accuracy on a global scale.

Salary range:
US $ –  per year. This is a remote opportunity with preference for locations in the US Central or Eastern time zones, especially Nashville, TN or Madison, WI.

• Be accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline.
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
• Make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan.
• Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.
• Have in‑depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in own discipline and knowledge of other disciplines.
• Manage a team of professionals and/or supervisors; adapt plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges.
• Impact the level of service and the team’s ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectives.

• 2+ years of leadership and conflict resolution experience.
• 5+ years of payroll administration experience.
• Experience with vendor management.
• Computer skills; proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and desire to stay current with future changes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
