General Manager

An established and profitable mid-size manufacturing company near Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a hands‑on, strategic General Manager to lead daily operations and set the foundation for long‑term business succession.

This is a key leadership role with full site accountability overseeing production, quality, supply chain, staffing, financial performance, and customer delivery. The ideal candidate brings both technical depth and team‑first leadership, with a passion for continuous improvement and organizational stability.

• Lead and coach a tenured team of functional leaders (Ops, Quality, Supply Chain)
• Drive execution against annual business and margin goals
• Manage site‑level P&L, budgeting, KPIs, and customer delivery
• Translate lean principles into measurable plant performance gains
• Support culture of accountability, trust, and servant leadership
• Align operational execution with multi‑year strategic goals

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including 5+ in senior plant or operations leadership
• Experience with lean manufacturing, KPI management, and P&L ownership
• Comfortable leading in low‑ego, high‑accountability cultures
• BS required; MBA or engineering background preferred
• Electronics or aerospace manufacturing experience a plus
• Must be based in or open to relocating to the Huntsville, AL area (Relocation assistance available)
