Job Title: VP-Branch Manager and Lender

The VP/Branch Manager & Lender is responsible for the administration and daily operations of their branch location, including operations, product sales, customer service, security, and safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives, either directly or through subordinates. This position will develop new deposit and loan business and provide a superior level of customer service.

• Manages the daily operations of their branch, its buildings, and belongings.
• Manages employees and staffing of their branch, including coaching, counseling, writing, and performance plans.
• Facilitates regular employee meetings to discuss goals, disseminate company information, discuss operations issues, etc.
• Maintains staff schedules to always provide adequate coverage.
• Compliments and rewards good employee performance and encourages individual improvement through outside schooling or job enlargement.
• Is knowledgeable about all lending, deposit, business, and consumer Bank products.
• Provides customer service to include opening new accounts and assisting other financial needs of the customer.
• Responsible for cross-selling bank products and services, along with managing assigned portfolio of bank customers.
• Maintains a determined level of personal production and actively pursues new loan and deposit relationships.
• Performs primary functions within branch in accordance with Citizens Alliance Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Deals with loan customer requests, including collecting and analyzing financial and related data in order to reach credit decision, establishing and negotiating terms in the extension of credit, including costs, fees, and repayment and collateral terms.
• Assists the Market Manager in implementing and ensuring all operational audits, including bank policies and procedures are being adhered to; responsible for taking prompt corrective action on internal/external branch audit findings.
• Responds to daily correspondence regarding bank office matters and/or bank customers or directs such matters to appropriate bank personnel for answering.
• Maintains good public relations with customers and the community; assumes community leadership and service responsibility with focus on the Community Reinvestment Act.
• Manages difficult situations with customers and provides them with a resolution, information, or additional options. Ensures quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests.
• Maintains complete confidentiality regarding sensitive customer and proprietary information.
• Performs as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflow.
• Requires a valid Driver’s License.
• Assigns the workload of the VP/Branch Manager & Lender’s direct reports, ensuring they are properly trained to perform their duties, evaluating their performance, and recommending any disciplinary action if necessary.
• Assists the human resources department in staffing their branch which includes interviewing, hiring, promoting, and terminating.
• Ensures proper coverage and staffing for all direct reports which includes reviewing and approving time off requests and timesheets.
• All employees are expected to exemplify and follow our core values.
• Regular attendance and punctuality when reporting to work.
• Travels for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.
• Position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee’s personal mobile device. The MFA apps are used to authenticate a user’s identity to the system for security purposes.
• Adheres to and complies with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adheres to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
