Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the installation, provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting/fault isolation, and restoration activities of essential wireless systems.
  • Provide leadership to the crew from the beginning of a project through completion, ensuring safety and quality standards, budget, and timelines are adhered to.
  • Supervisor the upload of customer software and scripts using specialty programs to perform cell tower configuration.
  • Supervise the tracking of on‑site inventory and materials, and refresh project supplies as needed.
  • Collect, review, and submit all on‑site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines.
  • Identify areas of improvement for staff and make training recommendations to management as required.
  • Ensure that the crew completes all required Company documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Education

High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education.

Experience
  • Six to eight years’ experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.
  • Two to four years supervisory experience.
  • Two or more years of wireless, DAS, and small cell systems experience.
  • Must have or obtain OSHA Construction 10‑hour Safety Training Card.
  • Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Must have or obtain RF Radiation Safety & Awareness certification.
Technical Skills
  • Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of cell site service monitors, RF test equipment, and T1 test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret radio frequency data sheets.
Soft Skills
  • Basic mathematical skills and calculation ability.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems.
  • Ability to motivate, lead, teach, and train on proper work and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements.
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various settings with moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work long and unpredictable hours.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including short notice travel. Travel includes local site travel or national travel depending on business needs.
