Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Overview

Find your purpose joining Centra Care in Redwood Falls as a Housekeeper/Cleaner, working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean.

• Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged.
• Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms.
• Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.

• Fulltime, 80 hours per two weeks.
• Weekday shifts - 2:00PM to 10:30PM.
• Includes every 4th weekend and holiday rotation working 6:00AM to 2:30PM.

• Starting pay begins at $16.98 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
• Full Pay range: $15.74 - $23.62 per hour

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
• Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning products, including but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers and vacuums.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift.
• Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
