Mora High School ASL Interpreter

Summary

The ASL Interpreter at Mora High School will facilitate effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing student and their peers, teachers, and staff. This role is essential in creating an inclusive educational environment that promotes equal access to learning and participation in school activities. The interpreter will utilize American Sign Language (ASL) to convey spoken language and provide support to students in various settings, ensuring they receive the same educational opportunities as their hearing counterparts.

Prefer Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc (RID) cerified interpreter but will accept an applicant who has successfully completed an interpreter-training program affiliated with an accreditied educational institution.
