About n8n
The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination. n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder‑approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 220, working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
- Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
- Earned 145k+ Git Hub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
- Been ranked as one of Europe’s most promising privately held SaaS startups (4th in Sifted’s 2025 B2B SaaS Rising 100)
- Raised $240m to date, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our recent $180m Series C — bringing us to a $2.5bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out – whether you’re technical or not – and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register.
Primary Responsibilities🎯 Your main goal will be to drive adoption of n8n by building AI‑powered, builder‑first product experiences that make it effortless to create, iterate, and scale real workflows — turning powerful capabilities into something people genuinely want to use.
To do so, you’ll own product work end‑to‑end – from strategy and discovery to shipping, learning, and iteration.
- Build builder‑first experiences that drive adoption
- Identify the highest‑leverage moments in the builder journey and ship improvements that make n8n easier to start with, easier to build in, and easier to succeed with.
- Turn complexity into simple, intuitive UX through tight collaboration with Design and Engineering, with a high bar for craft and usability.
- Continuously remove friction across key workflows (from first build to advanced usage) by combining user insights, product sense, and iteration speed.
- Lead AI product strategy and execution
- Track the fast‑moving AI landscape and translate it into pragmatic product bets that improve real workflow outcomes, not demos.
- Design AI experiences that are trustworthy and controllable, accounting for non‑determinism, failure states, evaluation, and human‑in‑the‑loop patterns.
- Ship AI‑powered features that improve speed‑to‑value for builders – then iterate based on real usage data and qualitative feedback.
- Product discovery that starts with real users and real workflows
- Engage deeply with our community and customers to understand their goals, blockers, and “why this matters” moments across use cases.
- Validate hypotheses through research, prototyping, and testing – balancing vision with fast learning loops.
- Translate insights into crisp problem definitions, strong priorities, and shippable plans that teams can execute with confidence.
- Drive outcomes through data, clarity, and cross‑functional leadership
- Define success metrics, instrument key journeys, and use data to guide prioritization and iteration (while knowing when to trust product intuition).
- Align and lead cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data, Dev Rel, Docs, PMM, Support/CS) through clear decisions, strong communication, and high standards.
- Champion a builder mindset across the org – bias to shipping, ownership of outcomes, and relentless focus on quality.
- 🚀 Proven product management experience:
You’ve shipped impactful products in fast‑paced environments and can point to outcomes and trade‑offs you owned. - 🧱 Builder mindset:
You’re entrepreneurial, hands‑on, and happiest when you can go from idea → prototype → shipped product quickly. You’re fluent in using AI tools that aid the process (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, etc.) - 🤖 Strong AI curiosity and practical knowledge:
You understand how LLM features behave (prompts, non‑determinism, evaluation, failure modes) and can turn that into great product decisions. - 🎨 Excellent product & UX taste:
