Overview

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join an agile delivery team and take ownership of testing across complex, integrated systems.

This role is hands-on, fast moving, and requires someone who knows how to lead testing efforts without needing constant direction.

You will be responsible for driving quality across the full testing lifecycle, from requirement review through go live, while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the QE representative on an agile delivery team
• Review and clarify requirements to ensure testability and coverage
• Estimate testing effort and plan work using proven test estimation techniques
• Create, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios
• Collaborate with team members on test case and automation development
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution
• Support UAT and go live activities
• Leverage test data management to identify and consume appropriate test data
• Apply strong QA and engineering best practices throughout the lifecycle
• Bring creative and innovative testing approaches, especially under tight timelines
• Facilitate testing meetings and communicate results clearly
• Report on defects, metrics, and testing status
• Provide clear go or no go recommendations for releases

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering or QA testing experience
• Experience with Loan Origination or Loan Servicing systems
• Strong expertise with Playwright or Selenium automation frameworks
• Proven ability to lead testing efforts across programs with multiple integrated systems
• Strong backend testing experience including APIs and databases
• Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries
• Experience using AI tools to enhance testing effectiveness
• Working knowledge of Snowflake
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops or similar test management tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
• Able to deliver with minimal guidance
• Strong multitasker who can manage multiple initiatives in parallel
