Interim Human Resources Generalist

The Interim HR Generalist will provide end-to-end HR support for a small, collaborative organization while supporting the team during a transition period. This consultant will manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, employee support, and multi-state payroll processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Hybrid – Northwest Suburbs

Hourly rate between $35-$50, DOE

• Manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle
• Process multi-state, end-to-end payroll for a small organization
• Administer benefits, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations support
• Maintain and optimize HRIS systems
• Support strategic HR initiatives including compensation, talent review, and succession planning
• Partner closely with the Head of People & Culture on HR priorities and execution

• Strong end-to-end HR Generalist experience across compliance, onboarding, benefits, and recruitment
• Hands-on multi-state payroll processing experience
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
• Comfortable supporting HR projects and system transitions
