Talent Manager, HR Manager
Apply for this job Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys working close to the business, supporting leaders, and developing people practices. We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our HR team and help us strengthen our ways of working in a changing environment.
Your roleIn this role, you will work as a strategic partner for managers, supporting them in everyday people matters as well as in longer‑term development work. You will spar, coach, train and guide both individuals and groups, and play an important role in developing HR practices, processes and tools across the company. Solteq operates in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Poland and UK so you will be part of a multinational HR team driving modern, business‑oriented HR and ensuring each employee has the conditions to succeed.
Whatyou will do
- Support leaders in all people‑related topics and act as their trusted partner
- Facilitate and coordinate discussions, trainings and workshops for teams and leaders
- Drive and support development projects across HR (processes, tools, ways of working)
- Ensure compliance with Finnish labor legislation, local practices and occupational requirements
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and competence development activities
- Collaborate closely with other HR colleagues across countries
- Help the organization stay focused and resilient in an evolving and sometimes uncertain environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in broad, generalist HR roles
- Solid experience supporting managers and working in a HR advisory capacity
- Strong communication skills - also in challenging or sensitive situations
- Experience in sparring and training individuals and teams
- Very good knowledge of Finnish labor law and local statutory requirements
- Proven ability to develop modern HR practices and lead development projects
- Fluent presentation skills
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
- Positive and change‑friendly mindset; ability to keep focus when things shift
- Independent working style and strong self‑management skills
- Curious, kind‑spirited approach to working with all types of people
- Good skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other Office tools
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills (AI, SharePoint, HRIS, analytics tools)
- Additional language skills (Danish, Swedish, Polish)
- Understanding of payroll
- Experience in business analytics
- HR experience from other Nordic countries
