Salary Range: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Job SummaryThe HR/Payroll Manager is responsible for managing payroll processes and supporting human resources functions, ensuring accurate employee compensation and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities include:
Prepares, maintains, develops, and updates essential payroll record and other historical and forecasting financial reports as directed by the Administrator.
Maintain accurate records of employee payroll information, including salary changes and benefit deductions.
Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies. Process and submit payroll tax filings and reports on time as required.
Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, time off requests, and other documents. Coordinates with the Business Office when required.
Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure the accuracy of payroll.
Responsible for filing and placing all documents in personnel files and contacting employees to maintain timeliness of submitting documents. Reports staff with consistently delinquent documents and expired license to Administrator/Supervisor.
Follows and assists in establishing organization-wide programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local laws, regulations, and standards that affect Human Resources and Payroll.
Provides training and support to employees regarding payroll processes and benefits.
Maintains an effective system for interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and terminating the employment of personnel in all classifications.
Manages employee onboarding paperwork and maintain confidential employee files.
Maintains all employment documentation records, logs, etc. in a neat, orderly, and updated manner while observing confidentiality.
Coordinates Benefits Program, including new hire and open enrollments. Enters applications to vendors when necessary.
Participates in the development of job classifications and job descriptions.
Educates staff on employee rights and all new and updated Human Resources/Payroll policies and procedures.
Maintains the learning management system, including course assignments for the facility.
Serves as the main point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and HR matters.
Performs all other duties as required and assigned.
QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR functions is preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
