Reports to:

Director of Operations

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

Line Cooks must be available for variable shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position typically follows a weekly schedule as outlined below:

Additional shifts may be assigned.

Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare menu items.
  • Clean prep areas.
  • Ensure correct food storage.
  • Check pars and prep.
  • Follow recipe standards.
  • Portion and garnish food.
  • Return unused food.
  • Assist with food cost control.
  • Operate cooking equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work in team environment.
  • Be able to adapt to warm and cold temperatures.
