Director of Operations
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Line Cooks must be available for variable shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position typically follows a weekly schedule as outlined below:
Additional shifts may be assigned.
Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare menu items.
- Clean prep areas.
- Ensure correct food storage.
- Check pars and prep.
- Follow recipe standards.
- Portion and garnish food.
- Return unused food.
- Assist with food cost control.
- Operate cooking equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work in team environment.
- Be able to adapt to warm and cold temperatures.
