Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Home Health team. This role provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients in their home environment, focusing on functional safety, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help clients maintain independence and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities- Provide home‑based occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising OT
- Assist clients with ADLs and IADLs to promote safety, independence, and quality of life
- Conduct functional assessments and document progress
- Collaborate with the OT, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate clients and families on adaptive techniques, safety, and equipment use
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Full‑time, Monday–Friday
No weekends or holidays
Travel to client homes required
- Valid Minnesota COTA license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Experience in home health or geriatrics is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment
- Consistent weekday schedule
