Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Taylors Falls, MN
Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a full-time asleep overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our adult foster care home in Taylors Falls, MN. As a DSP, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. The Taylors Falls home is located on the north end of Taylors Falls, MN. The program supports men ranging in age from their twenties to mid-fifties with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses including schizophrenia, past substance abuse, and schizoaffective disorder.
Shift: 10:00pm-8:00am, 40 hours per week. Every other weekend is required. Driver's license is required. Awake: 10:00pm-12:00am and 6:00am-8:00am;
Asleep: 12:00am-6:00am.
Salary: $12.00 per hour for asleep hours, $18.75-$19.25 per hour for awake hours.

What You’ll do as a DSP:
As a DSP, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. You will assist in a variety of day-to-day tasks based on the needs and goals of the people you are caring for. Duties may include medication administration, household duties, behavioral management, assistance with personal hygiene and medical cares, and community activities such as shopping, attending events, dining out, movies, fitness, outdoor recreation, and more.
You will develop meaningful relationships and be part of a person-centered culture that values the people we support and team members.
Your schedule will typically include 4–8-hour shifts with hours scheduled during the week and every other weekend. We support people 24/7 and have a variety of shift times available.
For this position you will need:
- To pass a post-offer background check
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass an MVR check if working days or evenings
