The Long Prairie Hospital is looking to add a Surgical Technologist to their team! As a Surgical Technologist, you will perform a combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team. You will be responsible for preparing the operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures as well as tracking inventory of surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety.
In this role, you will work closely with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses and other surgical personnel to deliver quality patient care.
To be eligible for all recruitment incentives, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for Centra Care for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Long Prairie Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment.

Schedule- Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | Long Prairie Hospital
- Various shifts Monday - Friday | 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (dependent on surgery schedule)
- Rotating weekend, weekday and holiday on call
- Potential travel to Melrose and Sauk Centre Hospitals on an as needed basis
- Starting pay begins at $26.63 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $25.20 - $37.81 per hour
- Up to $10,000 student loan repayment or $5,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates!

- Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situations
