Overview
The assisted living certified nursing assistant participates in planning, organizing and facilitating the operations of the home. The nursing assistant works cooperatively with residents, co-workers, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment. This role performs combined duties of food service, housekeeping, activities, laundry and nursing.

- Pay Range: $18.12-$23.56
It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
What You’ll Get To Do In This Role- Administer medications per policy and procedure.
- Assist in planning and implementing a variety of activities that meets the social, spiritual, intellectual, psychosocial and physical needs of the residents.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable and functional environment by assessing the household for potential hazards, utilizing appropriate techniques regarding sanitation, infection control, hazardous waste management, fire safety, disaster preparedness and emergency care.
- Demonstrate support for organizational fiscal viability through efficient and effective use of all resources of the household, including supplies and availability of resources.
- Dementia Sensitivity: able to demonstrate and nurture care practices for persons with dementia that meet needs while promoting individualized person-centered care and sense of well-being.
