We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plans and ensuring seamless coordination between clinical staff and administrative functions. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive patient experience, streamline office operations, and support the delivery of exceptional care.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in medical administrative support, and possesses excellent communication skills to navigate complex healthcare systems confidently.
- Act as the liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies to facilitate treatment planning and scheduling.
- LADC Required
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance authorization, and handle insurance verification processes efficiently.
- Manage patient intake, appointment scheduling, and follow-up communications using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such Procentive.
- Review medical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with billing procedures including medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), medical collection processes, and medical billing tasks.
- Maintain accurate medical records by filing documents correctly in Procentive.
- Provide exceptional patient service through phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and front desk support while ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Support clinic operations by managing medical office tasks such as appointment reminders, insurance verification, and data entry using Microsoft Office tools.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to develop care plans and ensure proper documentation review for quality assurance.
- Uphold confidentiality standards under HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive health information.
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with familiarity in dental or medical clinics preferred.
- Strong background in medical administrative support including scheduling, billing, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and insurance processing.
- Hands‑on experience with EMR/EHR systems Procentive is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation review and patient privacy protection.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with multi‑line phone systems.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette and ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently.
- Treatment facility experience that includes intake procedures, insurance verification, and office management is highly valued.
